[UIT] System, NAS and Workstation Controller Setup
We successfully completed the NAS and system setup project for UIT, ensuring their IT infrastructure was optimized for local operations and improved efficiency.
The tasks completed include:
Set up and configured the NAS (Network Attached Storage) to provide centralized and secure data storage and sharing for UIT.- Unjoined workstations from the previous domain, transitioning them to operate as local accounts for streamlined management.
- Created new user profiles on all workstations, tailored to each user’s specific needs and responsibilities.
- Installed and configured necessary applications, including Microsoft 365 apps, to support UIT’s daily operations.
- Set up a workstation controller, providing centralized control and management over UIT’s systems and devices.
- Tested and validated all systems and applications, ensuring smooth functionality and user readiness.
This comprehensive setup provided UIT with a well-organized, secure, and efficient IT environment tailored to their operational needs.
