[UIT] Backup Solution Implementation
We successfully implemented a comprehensive backup solution for UIT, ensuring data security and redundancy across multiple storage locations.
The tasks completed include:
Server Backup Setup: Configured the Backup Exec Server on Windows Server to enable reliable server backups- Server Backup Setup: Installed and set up the Backup Exec Agent for Windows Server to facilitate seamless data synchronization and backup processes.
- Barracuda Cloud Backup Services: Configured Barracuda Backup Cloud Services to integrate with Microsoft 365, enabling secure cloud-based backups for email, SharePoint, and other M365 data.
- Multi-Layer Backup Storage Setup: Set up a robust backup system across three storage locations for enhanced data redundancy: -Network Attached Storage (NAS) for centralized local backup storage. - External HDDs for portable offline backups. - Barracuda Cloud for secure, offsite cloud backups.
This implementation provided UIT with a reliable, multi-layered backup solution, ensuring data safety, accessibility, and resilience against potential data loss scenarios.
