[UIC] Desktop Relocation & Acronis Backup Setup
We successfully completed the Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Implementation and Desktop System Relocation for UIC, ensuring secure data protection and a seamless transition of IT infrastructure.
The tasks completed include:
Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Setup: Configured Acronis Cyber Protect Backup for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.- Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Setup: Set up backup copies to provide comprehensive data redundancy and security across three locations: - NAS (Network Attached Storage) for local backups. - External HDDs for offline backup solutions. - External HDDs for offline backup solutions.
- Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Setup: Conducted thorough testing to validate backup and restore processes, ensuring reliability and recovery capabilities.
- Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Setup: Documented the backup configuration for future reference
- Desktop System Relocation: Relocated desktop systems to a new location, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Desktop System Relocation: Reassembled and reconnected all systems at the new room, ensuring all components were fully functional.
- Desktop System Relocation: Conducted post-relocation testing to verify system performance and network connectivity.
This project equipped UIC with a robust backup solution and ensured a smooth and efficient relocation of their desktop systems, supporting business continuity and data protection.
