How to Set Up a Custom Zoom Background 🧑‍💻

Looking to up your Zoom meeting game? A custom virtual background is a great place to start. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Download backgrounds. You can find great, free-to-use images online or download a starter pack from a source like this link.
Step 2: Open Zoom settings. In the Zoom app, click your profile picture (usually in the top right corner), then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Add your virtual background. In the Settings window, navigate to the "Backgrounds & Filters" tab. Click the small `+` icon to add the images you downloaded.

Important: For the background to look right, make sure you **uncheck** the "Mirror my video" option.

You can upload any image you like to serve as your background. Just click the "+" button and select "Add Image".
